QuickBooks® Pro Edition 2006: This is a very flexible package, which perfectly suits small businesses. If you don’t already use any accounting software, your company can be set up quickly and confidently to produce detailed accounts, stock control, and letter headed invoices and purchase orders. You can also quickly see flow charts of your business expenses and incomes. QuickBooks is recognised by accountants and more importantly the Inland Revenue and its use will enable your accountant to quickly put together the necessary figures for your tax return.

Spreadsheets: If you don’t feel it’s necessary to use a full accounts package, monthly income and expenditure can be recorded for you using spreadsheets. These are quick and easy to use, your figures are easily accessible, and can be printed or e-mailed as required.
Customised invoices can be produced using Excel™ adding a professional touch to your paperwork.
Handwritten Ledgers: For people who don’t have access to a computer, or would rather not use one, cash books can be utilised and all aspects of your books can be prepared for your accountant by hand. |
